Darlington Golf Course - Mahwah, New Jersey
REMODEL
The Northeast Golf Company was retained to develop a Comprehensive Golf Course Enhancement Plan for Darlington Golf Course, in Mahwah, NJ one of five Bergen County golf courses. The overall improvement program, completed in 2007 included the rerouting, realignment and/or lengthening of 12 holes, the construction of 60 new bunkers, all new tee complexes, 7 new greens, all new cart paths, extensive subsurface drainage and new full scale/state-of-the-art irrigation system. The project required continuous operational assessments to ensure that the County constituency had a minimum of 9 holes to play throughout the season. The construction was scheduled and directed to meet these needs.
The project has been recognized in local and regional publications and represents our commitment to the development and improvement of municipal golf throughout the country.
