Rockleigh Golf Course - Rockleigh, New Jersey
REDESIGN
The Northeast Golf Company was retained to develop a Comprehensive Golf Course Enhancement Plan for Rockleigh Golf Course, in Rockleigh, NJ another of the five Bergen County golf courses. The overall improvement program, completed in 2004 included the realignment and/or lengthening of 12 holes, the construction of 42 new bunkers, 18 new tee complexes, all new cart paths continuous, 2 new holes tee to green, extensive subsurface drainage, new short game practice area and new irrigation system) The course remained fully operational throughout the two 9-hole phases of construction.
The project was a great success receiving high praise from players and local and national media. The completed work was recognized with runner up honors for Best Renovation in the Country by Golf Inc. Magazine (2004). In 2008 Rockleigh Golf Course hosted the New Jersey Public Links Championship.
